ഫോർട്ട്കൊച്ചി ചിരട്ടപ്പാലം റോഡിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നവർക്ക്  കണ്ണിനും മനസ്സിനും കുളിർമയേകുന്ന ഒരു ഹരിതപാത. പുളിക്കൽ ജോൺ തോമസ് എന്ന ഓസ്റ്റിൻ ഒന്നര വർഷം കൊണ്ടാണ് ഏകദേശം 150 മീറ്ററോളം നീളത്തിൽ റോഡരികിനെ പൂന്തോട്ടമാക്കി മാറ്റിയത്. ആദ്യം സ്വന്തം വീടിന് മുന്നിൽ മാത്രം തുടങ്ങിയ ഹരിതസംരംഭം പിന്നീട് അയൽവാസികളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ നീളുകയും വളരുകയും ചെയ്തു.
