വെടിവച്ചിന് പോത്തിന്, കൊണ്ടതാകട്ടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കും, സിനിമയിലെ രംഗമല്ലാ, ശരിക്കും സംഭവിച്ചതാണ്. സംഭവം നടന്നത്  വയനാട് പനമരത്താണ്.  അറക്കാൻ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പോത്ത് വിരണ്ടോടിയതോടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ സഹായത്തിനായി വനം വകുപ്പിനെ വിളിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ആ വിളി നാട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കിട്ട് തന്നെ എട്ടിന്‍റെ പണിയായി മാറി. വിരണ്ടോടിയ പോത്തിനുനേരെ ഉതിര്‍ത്ത പെല്ലറ്റ് കൊണ്ടതാകട്ടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കും. 

വനംവകുപ്പ് ഉതിര്‍ത്ത എയര്‍ഗണ്ണിന്‍റെ െപല്ലറ്റ് ആണ് മാറിക്കൊണ്ടത്. വനംവകുപ്പിന്‍റെ വെടിയില്‍ പോത്ത് പോത്തിന്‍റെ വഴിക്ക് പോയതോടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ക്ക് കിട്ടിയതാകട്ടെ പരുക്കും. പരുക്കേറ്റവരെ ഉടനെ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.
