കോട്ടയം ഏറ്റുമാനൂർ കണപ്പുരയിൽ മദ്യപിച്ചെത്തിയ ഭർത്താവ് ഭാര്യയെ കിണറ്റിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടു. പിന്നാലെ ഭർത്താവും കിണറ്റിലേക്ക് ചാടി, ഒടുവിൽ ഫയർഫോഴ്സ് എത്തിയാണ് രണ്ട് പേരെയും കരയിൽ എത്തിച്ചത്.
ഭർത്താവ് ശിവരാജ് ഭാര്യ ബിനുവിനെ വീടിന് സമീപത്തുള്ള കിണറ്റിലേക്ക് തള്ളിയിടുകയായിരുന്നു. കിണറ്റിൽ അധികം വെള്ളമില്ലാത്തതിനാലും ആഴമില്ലാത്തതിനാലുമാണ് ഇരുവരും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. വീഴ്ചയിൽ ബിനുവിന്റെ കാലിന് പരിക്കേറ്റു. രണ്ടു പേരും തമ്മിലുള്ള കുടുംബ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളാണ് അതിക്രമത്തിന് കാരണമെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്.
