പയ്യന്നൂരിൽ സ്വതന്ത്ര സ്ഥാനാര്‍ഥിയായി മല്‍സരിക്കുന്ന വി.കുഞ്ഞികൃഷ്ണന്‍റെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിറ്റി ഓഫീസ് പൊളിച്ചു. ഓഫീസിന് സ്ഥലം നൽകിയതിന് ഉടമയ്ക്ക് സിപിഎം പ്രാദേശിക നേതൃത്വത്തിന്‍റെ ഭീഷണി ഉണ്ടായതായി ആരോപണമുണ്ട്. സ്ഥലമുടമയുടെ ആവശ്യപ്രകാരമാണ്  ഓഫീസ് പൊളിച്ചുനീക്കിയത്. ഓഫീസിന് സ്ഥലം കൊടുക്കരുതെന്ന് ചിലര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതായി സ്ഥലം ഉടമ പറഞ്ഞു. 

 

ഭീഷണിയുണ്ടെന്നും ഓഫീസ് പൊളിച്ച് നീക്കിതരണമെന്നും ഉടമ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതിനെതുടര്‍ന്നാണ് നീക്കം ചെയ്തതെന്ന് വി കു‌ഞ്ഞികൃഷ്ണൻ പറഞ്ഞു. തങ്ങള്‍ കാരണം മറ്റൊരാള്‍ക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ടാകരുതെന്ന് കരുതിയാണ് പൊളിച്ച് നീക്കിയതെന്നും ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ പൂര്‍ണമായും അട്ടിമറിക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലേക്കാണ് കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പോകുന്നതെന്നും വി.കുഞ്ഞികൃഷ്ണൻ ആരോപിച്ചു. 

 

ഫണ്ട് തട്ടിപ്പ് ആരോപണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കുഞ്ഞിക്കൃഷ്ണൻ സിപിഎമ്മിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തുപോയിരുന്നു. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് രക്തസാക്ഷി ഫണ്ട് പിരിക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് എൽഡിഎഫ് സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി പി.ടി. മധുസൂദനെതിരെ ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിച്ചതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് കുഞ്ഞിക്കൃഷ്ണൻ പാർട്ടിക്ക് പുറത്തേക്ക് പോയത്. യുഡിഎഫ് പുറത്തുനിന്ന് പിന്തുണ നൽകുമെന്ന് അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
