ട്രെയിൻ യാത്രക്കാരിയായ മണ്ണാർക്കാട് പൊറ്റശ്ശേരി സ്വദേശിയായ യുവതിയുടെ 80,000 രൂപയുടെ മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ മോഷ്ടിച്ചെന്നായിരുന്നു സംവിധായകനെതിരെയുള്ള കേസ്. പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ ഷൊർണൂർ റെയിൽവേ പൊലീസ് സിസിടിവി കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് പ്രതി കാജാ ഹുസൈന്‍ പിടിയിലായത്. ഇതാദ്യമായല്ല കാജാ ഹുസൈന്‍ മോഷണം നടത്തുന്നത്. മുന്‍പ് കോഴിക്കോട് ഭാഗത്ത് വെച്ചും ട്രെയിനിൽ നിന്ന് നാല് ലാപ്ടോപ്പുകളും മോഷ്ടിച്ചതും ഇയാള്‍ ആണെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി.
സിനിമാ നി‍ർമാണത്തിനായി പണം വാങ്ങി തട്ടിപ്പ് നടത്തിയെന്ന കേസിൽ 2024 ജൂലൈയിൽ കാജാഹുസൈൻ പൊലീസിൽ കീഴടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. സിനിമാ നിർമാണത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ 62 ലക്ഷം രൂപ തട്ടിയെടുത്തെന്നായിരുന്നു പരാതി. ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ തള്ളിയതോടെയാണ് അന്ന് കാജാ ഹുസൈൻ കീഴടങ്ങിയത്.
