ഓഗസ്റ്റ് മാസത്തില് കൂടുതല് നിരക്ക് നല്കി വൈദ്യുതി വാങ്ങിയതിന്റെ നഷ്ടം മറികടക്കാന് ഒക്ടോബറിലും ഉപഭോക്താക്കള്ക്ക് സർചാർജ്. യൂണിറ്റിന് മൂന്ന് പൈസ വീതം പിരിക്കാനാണ് കെഎസ്ഇബി തീരുമാനം. പ്രതിമാസ, ദ്വൈമാസ ബില്ലുകാർക്ക് ഒരേ നിരക്കായിരിക്കും.
ഓഗസ്റ്റ് മാസം പുറത്തുനിന്ന് വൈദ്യുതി എത്തിച്ചതിൽ 6.88 കോടി അധിക ചെലവെന്നാണ് കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി വിശദീകരണം. ഈ തുകയാണ് അടുത്തമാസം സർചാർജായി പിരിക്കുക. സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ പ്രതിമാസ ബില്ലുകാരില് നിന്ന് മൂന്ന് പൈസയും ദ്വൈമാസ ബില്ലുകാരില് നിന്ന് രണ്ട് പൈസയും സർചാർജ് ഈടാക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
