സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇടവേളയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം കാലവര്ഷം വീണ്ടും കരുത്താര്ജിക്കുന്നു. ആറ് ജില്ലകളില് ഓറഞ്ച് അലര്ട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. എറണാകുളം, ഇടുക്കി, കോഴിക്കോട്, വയനാട്, കണ്ണൂര്, കാസര്കോട് ജില്ലകളിലാണ് ഓറഞ്ച് അലര്ട്ട്. മറ്റ് ജില്ലകളില് യെലോ അലര്ട്ടും നിലവിലുണ്ട്. ഇന്ന് മുതല് ജൂലൈ ഒന്ന് വരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട അതിശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്കും ജൂലൈ രണ്ടുവരെ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ശക്തമായ മഴയ്ക്കും സാധ്യതയെന്നാണ് കാലാവസ്ഥ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. അതോടൊപ്പം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോടു കൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്കും മണിക്കൂറിൽ 40 മുതൽ 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ (ചിലപ്പോൾ പരമാവധി 60 കി.മീ വരെ) വേഗതയിൽ വീശിയേക്കാവുന്ന ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിനും സാധ്യത.
