എസ്എഫ്ഐ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറിയായിരുന്ന പി.എം.ആര്‍ഷോയുടെ അനധികൃത കോളജ് പ്രവേശത്തില്‍ മഹാരാജാസ് കോളജ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പലിനെതിരെ പരാതി. നിലവിലെ സെനറ്റ് അംഗം അരുണ്‍ മോഹനാണ് സര്‍വകലാശാലയ്ക്കും വിസിക്കും പരാതി നല്‍കിയത്. മുന്‍ സെനറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെയും നടപടി വേണമെന്നാണ് ആവശ്യം. പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പലിനെതിരായ നടപടി നടപടി താക്കീതില്‍ ഒതുക്കാന്‍ മുന്‍ സെനറ്റ് തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നു.

ആർഷോയ്ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നൽകിയത് നിയമവിരുദ്ധം എന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടും നടപടിയുണ്ടായില്ല. പ്രിൻസിപ്പലും സെനറ്റ് അംഗങ്ങളും സ്വജനപക്ഷപാതം കാട്ടി. ഇൻഗ്രേറ്റഡ് ആർക്കിയോളജി കോഴ്സിൽ ഏഴാം സെമസ്റ്ററിലേക്ക് ആർഷോയ്ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നൽകിയത് ചട്ടവിരുദ്ധമായാണ് എന്ന് അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് രജിസ്ട്രാർ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. മറ്റ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് 75% ഹാജർ അത്യാവശ്യമെന്നിരിക്കെ 10% ഹാജർ മാത്രമുള്ള ആർഷോയ്ക്ക് പ്രവേശനം അനുവദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രിസിപ്പലിന് ജാഗ്രത കുറവുണ്ടായി എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു പരാതി ഒതുക്കി തീർക്കാൻ ശ്രമം നടന്നെന്നും അരുൺ മോഹൻ പരാതിയിൽ പറയുന്നു.

അതേസമയം, മഹാരാജാസ് കോളജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ 2025 മാർച്ച് 18നു സർവകലാശാലയ്ക്ക് നൽകിയ അന്തിമ റിപ്പോർട്ട് സർവകലാശാല സിൻഡിക്കറ്റ് ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുകയും വീഴ്ച സമ്മതിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ചട്ടവിരുദ്ധമായാണ് ആർഷോയ്ക്ക് എംഎ ക്ലാസിലേക്കു പ്രവേശനം നൽകിയതെന്നും തെറ്റായ റിപ്പോർട്ടാണ് ആദ്യം കോളജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ സർവ്വകലാശാലയ്ക്ക് നൽകിയതെന്നും റജിസ്ട്രാർ സിൻഡിക്കറ്റ് യോഗത്തിൽ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ആർഷോയ്ക്ക് ആറാം സെമസ്റ്ററിൽ 10% ഹാജർ മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു. സർവകലാശാല യൂണിയന്റെയും കോളജ് യൂണിയന്റെയും പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ പേരിൽ 27 ദിവസത്തെ ഹാജർ നൽകിയയെന്നായിരുന്നു മഹാരാജാസ് കോളജിന്‍റെ ആദ്യ വിശദീകരണം. എന്നാൽ ഒരു സെമസ്റ്ററിൽ പരമാവധി 15 ദിവസത്തെ ഹാജർ മാത്രമേ കുറവ് ചെയ്തു നൽകാൻ ചട്ടം അനുവദിക്കുന്നുള്ളു. ഇത് പരിശോധിക്കാതെയാണ് കോളജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രവേശനം നൽകിയത്.

An internal investigation by the Assistant Registrar had previously confirmed that standard academic mandates requiring 75% attendance were bypassed to grant Arsho an unpermitted advantage. Although university regulations restrict attendance relaxation for student union activities to a maximum of 15 days per semester, the college had erroneously credited him with 27 days of duty leave to cover up the deficit. Despite the MG University Syndicate recently acknowledging these critical procedural lapses and the submission of a misleading initial report, the left-leaning panel drew heavy flak for letting the Principal off with just a mild cautionary reminder.
