രാവിലെ പത്തരയോടെ ഡിസിസി സെക്രട്ടറി സുധീര് കുമാറിന്റെ വീട്ടിലെത്തിയ ഇബ്രാഹിംകുട്ടി പെട്രോള് ഒഴിച്ച് തീ കൊളുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. സുധീര്കുമാര് സൊസൈറ്റിയിലെ മുന് ഡയറക്ടറാണ്. ശരീരത്തില് 60 ശതമാനത്തോളം പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഇബ്രാഹിംകുട്ടിയെ ഉടന് തന്നെ വടകര ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഗുരുതരമായതിനാല് കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല് കോളജിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.
