എത്രയും വേഗം ബ്രണ്ണന് കോളജിലെ സ്ട്രോങ് റൂമിലെത്തണം എന്നായിരുന്നു അറിയിപ്പ്. ഇതുപ്രകാരം ഏജന്റുമാരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തില് ഹാര്ഡ് ഡിസ്കുകള് മാറ്റി സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. അഴിച്ചെടുത്ത ഹാര്ഡ് ഡിസ്ക് സീല് ചെയ്ത് ട്രഷറിയിലേക്കാണ് മാറ്റുന്നത്. മതിയായ കപ്പാസിറ്റിയില്ലാത്ത ഹാര്ഡ് ഡിസ്കാണോ ആദ്യം വെച്ചത് എന്നാണ് യുഡിഎഫിന്റെ ചോദ്യം.
അതേസമയം, സാങ്കേതിക വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ അറിയിപ്പ് പ്രകാരം മാറ്റുകയല്ലാതെ വഴിയില്ലെന്നാണ് റിട്ടേണിങ് ഓഫീസര്മാരുടെ മറുപടി.

Controversy has emerged over strong rooms in the Thalassery and Kuthuparamba assembly constituencies. Returning officers informed that the hard disks storing CCTV footage from the strong rooms had run out of capacity and needed to be replaced. The notification was issued to candidates and booth agents during the night. They were instructed to reach the strong room at Brennen College as soon as possible. Accordingly, the hard disks were replaced in the presence of agents. The removed hard disks were sealed and shifted to the treasury.
The UDF has questioned whether insufficient-capacity hard disks were installed initially. Meanwhile, returning officers stated that the replacement was carried out as per instructions from the technical department and that there was no alternative.
