രണ്ടാം പിണറായി സര്ക്കാരിന്റെ അവസാന ബജറ്റില് ക്ഷേമ പെന്ഷന് 14500 കോടി രൂപ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് ധനമന്ത്രി കെ.എന്.ബാലഗോപാല്. സാമൂഹ്യ സുരക്ഷാ പെന്ഷനുകളും ക്ഷേമ ബോര്ഡ് പെന്ഷനുകളും സര്വകലാശാല പെന്ഷനുകളും നവംബര് മുതല് 2000 രൂപയാക്കി വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. 2026–27 സാമ്പത്തിക വര്ഷത്തില് ക്ഷേമപെന്ഷന് വിതരണത്തിനായാണ് 14500 കോടി വകയിരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. അങ്കണവാടി വര്ക്കര്മാരുടെ വേതനത്തില് 1000 രൂപയും, ഹെല്പ്പര്മാര്ക്ക് 500 രൂപയുടെയും പ്രതിമാസ വര്ധന വരുത്തും. ആശ വര്ക്കര്മാരുെട പ്രതിമാസ വേതനത്തില് 1000 രൂപയും വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രീപ്രൈമെറി സർ പ്രീപ്രൈമറി അധ്യാപകര്ക്കും 100 രൂപയും സ്കൂളിലെ പാചകത്തൊളിലാളികളുടെ ദിവസ വേതനത്തില് 25 രൂപയും വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. സാക്ഷരതാ പ്രേരക്മാരുടെ വേതനത്തില് 1000 രൂപയുടെ വര്ധനവും ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു.
3720 കോടി രൂപ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ സ്ത്രീസുരക്ഷാ പദ്ധതിക്കായും മാറ്റി വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 35നും അറുപതിനും ഇടയില് പ്രായമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക് പ്രതിമാസം ആയിരം രൂപ ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണിത്. മറ്റ് സാമൂഹിക ക്ഷേമ പദ്ധതികളിലൊന്നും ഗുണഭോക്താക്കളാകാത്തവര്ക്കാണ് ഈ തുക ലഭിക്കുക. കണക്ട് വര്ക് സ്കോളര്ഷിപ് പദ്ധതിക്കായി 400 കോടി രൂപയും വകയിരുത്തി.
