സംസ്ഥാന കലോല്സവത്തിലെ വിജയികള്ക്കുള്ള സമ്മാനത്തുക ഈ വര്ഷം തന്നെ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമന്ത്രി വി.ശിവന്കുട്ടി. സാമ്പത്തിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ് കുടിശികയ്ക്ക് കാരണം. തുക ലഭിക്കാത്തതില് വിദ്യാര്ഥികള്ക്കുള്ള ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് മനോരമന്യൂസ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ചെയ്തതിനെ തുടര്ന്നാണ് നടപടി. സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തില് എ ഗ്രേഡ് നേടിയവര്ക്കുള്ള സമ്മാനത്തുകയാണ് നാലുവര്ഷമായി മുടങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നത്. 11,000 രൂപ വരെ കിട്ടാത്ത കുട്ടികളുണ്ടെന്നും മനോരമ ന്യൂസിന്റെ അന്വേഷണത്തില് കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
കലാപ്രതിഭ, കലാതിലകം പട്ടങ്ങള് അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച് ഗ്രേഡ് സമ്പ്രദായം ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തിയതോടെയാണ് സാംസ്കാരിക സ്കോളര്ഷിപ്പ് നിലവില് വന്നത്. 2006 ല് എറണാകുളത്ത് വച്ച് നടന്ന കലോല്സവം മുതലായിരുന്നു ഇത്. ഈ വര്ഷം മുതല് സമ്മാനത്തുക 1000ത്തില് നിന്നും 1500 രൂപയാക്കി വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. കഴിഞ്ഞ കലോല്സവത്തില് 12,000 കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് എ ഗ്രേഡ് കിട്ടിയിരുന്നു.
