കൊച്ചി നഗരത്തില് ഇന്ന് രാത്രി 10 മുതല് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാത്രി ഒന്പത് മണി വരെ കുടിവെള്ളം മുടങ്ങും. തമ്മനം പമ്പ് ഹൗസില് അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി നടക്കുന്നതാണ് കാരണം. കൊച്ചി കോര്പറേഷനിലെ എല്ലാ ഡിവിഷനുകളിലും ചേരാനല്ലൂര്, മുളവുകാട് പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിലുമാണ് കുടിവെള്ളം മുടങ്ങുക. ജനങ്ങള് ആവശ്യത്തിന് വെള്ളം ശേഖരിച്ചു വയ്ക്കണമെന്ന് അധികൃതര് അറിയിച്ചു. തമ്മനത്ത് കുടിവെള്ള ടാങ്ക് തകര്ന്നുണ്ടായ അപകടം മൂലം നേരത്തെയും കുടിവെള്ള വിതരണം തടസപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ടാങ്കിന്റെ അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണികള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയാണ് നിലവില് പമ്പിങ് നിര്ത്തിവയ്ക്കുന്നത്.
