മുനമ്പത്തെ തര്‍ക്കഭൂമിയുടെ  കൈവശക്കാര്‍ക്ക് കരമൊടുക്കാമെന്ന് ഹൈക്കോടതി. അന്തിമ വിധി വരുന്നത് വരെ താല്‍കാലികാടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ കരം സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ റവന്യൂവകുപ്പിനോട് കോടതി നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു. ഭൂനികുതി സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ റവന്യൂ അധികൃതര്‍ക്ക് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച ഹര്‍ജിയിലാണ് ഉത്തരവ്. വഖഫ് ബോർഡ് ഭൂമിയിൽ അവകാശം ഉന്നയിച്ചെന്ന പേരിൽ നികുതി സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ വില്ലേജ് ഓഫിസർ തയാറാകുന്നില്ലെന്നു ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി ഭൂസംരക്ഷണ സമിതി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയാണ് ഹര്‍ജി സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചത്. 

ഈ വസ്തുവിലെ താമസക്കാരുടെയടക്കം നികുതി സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ നിർദേശിച്ച് കൊച്ചി തഹസിൽദാർ 2022 ൽ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച ഉത്തരവു ചോദ്യം ചെയ്ത് കേരള വഖഫ് സംരക്ഷണവേദി നൽകിയ ഹർജിയും ഹൈക്കോടതിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിലുണ്ട്. മുനമ്പത്തേത് വഖഫ് ഭൂമിയല്ലെന്ന് ഡിവിഷന് ബെഞ്ച്   ഉത്തരവിട്ടിരുന്നു. തുടർന്നു ഹർജികൾ നേരത്തേ പരിഗണിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു സർക്കാരും ഹൈക്കോടതിയിൽ അപേക്ഷ നൽകിയിരുന്നു.

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

The Kerala High Court directed the Revenue Department to temporarily accept land tax (Karam) from the occupants of the disputed land in Munambam until a final verdict is issued. The court gave the directive on a petition filed by the Bhusamrakshana Samithi and others, which stated that the Village Officer was refusing to accept tax due to Waqf Board claims on the property. A related petition challenging a 2022 order by the Kochi Tahsildar, which also allowed tax collection, is currently pending before the High Court. The court had earlier ruled that the Munambam land is not Waqf property.
