തൃശൂർ പുത്തൂർ സുവോളജിക്കൽ പാർക്കിൽ ഗുരുതര സുരക്ഷാവീഴ്ച. തെരുവുനായയുടെ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ പത്തുമാനുകൾ ചത്തു. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെയാണ് തെരുവുനായയുടെ ആക്രമണം ഉണ്ടായതെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇതുവരെ പാര്‍ക്കിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശനം അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. 

പ്രത്യേക ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥ തയാറാക്കിയാണ് മാനുകളെ ഇവിടെ പാര്‍പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. വന്യൂ മന്ത്രിയോട് കൂടിയാലോചന നടത്തിയ ശേഷം അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് വനം മന്ത്രി എ.കെ.ശശീന്ദ്രന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഡോക്ടര്‍ അരുണ്‍ സഖറിയയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘം പുത്തൂരിലെത്തി മാനുകളുടെ പോസ്റ്റുമോര്‍ട്ടം ആരംഭിച്ചു.

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

Ten deer were killed following a severe security lapse when a street dog gained entry into the Puthoor Zoological Park in Thrissur last night. The park, which has not yet opened to the public, keeps the deer in a specially created habitat. Forest Minister A. K. Saseendran has announced an inquiry following consultation with the Wildlife Minister. A team led by Dr. Arun Zachariah has begun post-mortem examinations on the dead animals.
