സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രത്യേക റജിസ്ട്രേഷന്‍ സീരിസ് പ്രാവര്‍ത്തികമാകുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇനി KL 90, KL 90 D എന്നും കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് KL 90 A, KL 90 E എന്നുമായിരിക്കും സീരിസ്. KL 90B, KL 90F റജിസ്‌ട്രേഷനിലാണ് തദ്ദേശ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്യുക. 

അര്‍ധ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍, ബോര്‍ഡുകള്‍, വിവിധ കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനുകള്‍, സര്‍വകലാശാലകള്‍ എന്നിവക്ക് KL 90Cയും ആ സീരിസിലെ റജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ KL 90G സീരീസിലുമായിരിക്കും റജിസ്‌ട്രേഷന്‍ നല്‍കുക. 

കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി നിലവിലെ KL 15 ആയി തുടരും. ഇത് അനുസരിച്ച് മോട്ടോര്‍ വാഹന നിയമത്തിലെ ഭേദഗതിക്ക് കരട് വിഞ്ജാപനമായി. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ തിരിച്ചറിയാനും സ്വകാര്യ വാഹനങ്ങളില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ബോര്‍ഡ് വെച്ചുള്ള യാത്ര തടയാനുമാണ് നീക്കം. 

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

A new special registration series has been introduced for government vehicles in Kerala. State government vehicles will now carry the registration numbers KL 90 and KL 90 D, while central government vehicles will use KL 90 A and KL 90 E series. Vehicles belonging to local self-government institutions will be registered under KL 90 B and KL 90 F. Semi-government institutions, boards, various corporations, and universities will have the KL 90 C series, and once that is completed, registration will move to the KL 90 G series.
