കൊച്ചി നഗരത്തില് തീപിടിത്തം. ടൗണ്ഹാളിന് സമീപമുള്ള യൂസ്്ഡ് ഫര്ണിച്ചര് ഷോറൂമിലാണ് പുലര്ച്ചെ മൂന്ന് മണിയോടെ തീ പിടിച്ചത്. വലിയ രീതിയില് തീ ആളിപ്പടര്ന്നിരുന്നു. പത്രവിതരണക്കാരാണ് കടയ്ക്ക് തീപിടിച്ച വിവരം ഫയര്ഫോഴ്സിനെ അറിയിച്ചത്. അഞ്ച് യൂണിറ്റ് ഫയര്ഫോഴ്സ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി തീ പൂര്ണമായും അണച്ചു. സമീപത്ത് പെട്രോള് പമ്പും ഫ്ലാറ്റുകളും വീടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് ആശങ്ക വര്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. തീപിടിത്തത്തിന്റെ കാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ല.
