കൊല്ലം കടയ്ക്കല്‍ കുമ്മിളില്‍ വില്‍പനയ്ക്കായി എത്തിച്ച പഴകിയ ഇറച്ചി നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പിടികൂടി പൊലീസിനു കൈമാറി. ഹോട്ടലുകളില്‍ അടക്കം വില്‍പ്പനയ്ക്കായി എത്തിച്ച ഇറച്ചിയാണ് പിടികൂടിയത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം തിരുവല്ലം സ്വദേശി സുരേഷ് കുാമറാണ് ഇറച്ചി കടയ്ക്കലില്‍ എത്തിച്ചത്. ദുര്‍ഗന്ധം വമിക്കുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍ പെട്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പരിശോധിച്ചത്. പിന്നീട് പൊലീസിനേയും ആരോഗ്യ വിഭാഗത്തേയും വിവരമറിയിച്ചു. പൊലീസെത്തി സുരേഷ് കുമാറിനെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. ഇറച്ചി പിന്നീട് കുഴിച്ചുമൂടി. 

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

Residents in Kummil, Kollam intercepted and reported spoiled meat being transported for sale, allegedly to local hotels. The foul smell prompted locals to inspect the delivery, which was brought by Suresh Kumar from Thiruvallam, Thiruvananthapuram. Police and health officials were informed, and the meat was later buried. The accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.
