അങ്കമാലി - ശബരി റെയില്‍പാത യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി വി.അബ്ദുറഹ്മാന്‍.  മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി– റെയില്‍വേ മന്ത്രിയുമായി നടത്തിയ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയില്‍ വിഷയം ചര്‍ച്ചയായി.  ഇതിനായി കേന്ദ്ര വിദഗ്ധസംഘം  കേരളത്തില്‍ എത്തും. ജൂലൈയില്‍ ഭൂമി ഏറ്റെടുക്കല്‍ നടപടികള്‍ തുടങ്ങുമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ മന്ത്രി  സില്‍വര്‍ലൈന്‍ ചര്‍ച്ചയായില്ലെന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു. സെമി ഹൈസ്പീഡ് റെയില്‍ പദ്ധതിയില്‍ ഇ.ശ്രീധരന്റെ കത്തും റെയില്‍വേമന്ത്രാലയം പരിശോധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇ.ശ്രീധരന്‍ ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെത്തി റെയില്‍വേമന്ത്രിയെ കാണും. ഈ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുശേഷം പദ്ധതിയെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസ്ഥാനവുമായി സംസാരിക്കും

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

Minister V. Abdurahiman stated that a decision has been made to make the Angamaly - Sabari railway line a reality. The issue was discussed during the meeting between the Chief Minister and the Railway Minister. A central expert team will arrive in Kerala for this purpose. The Minister also mentioned that land acquisition procedures would begin in July and added that SilverLine was not discussed. The Railway Ministry is also examining E. Sreedharan's letter regarding the semi-high-speed rail project
