മലപ്പുറം താനാളൂരില് കപ്പ് കേക്ക് തൊണ്ടയില് കുടുങ്ങി വീട്ടമ്മ മരിച്ചു. താനാളൂർ സ്വദേശി സൈനബ(44) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല് കോളജില് ചികില്സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് മരണം. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ട് വീട്ടില് വച്ച് ചായക്കൊപ്പം കപ്പ് കേക്ക് കഴിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് അപകടം.
ഇവരുടെ മകളുടെ വിവാഹം ഇന്നലെ നടക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നതാണ്. എന്നാല് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച നിക്കാഹ് കര്മം മാത്രം നടത്തി ചടങ്ങ് പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. വീട്ടില് വിവാഹ ആഘോഷം നടക്കാനിരിക്കെയാണ് ദാരുണ സംഭവമുണ്ടായത്.
