ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫുട്ബോൾ ഇതിഹാസം ഐ.എം.വിജയന്‍റെ അമ്മ കൊച്ചമ്മുവിന്‍റെ ഓർമ്മയ്ക്കായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സെവൻസ് ഫുട്ബോളിന് പന്തുരുണ്ട് തുടങ്ങി. ഇന്ന് സമൂഹത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ലഹരിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ആഹ്വാനം ആയിരിക്കും ഈ ഫുട്ബോൾ മത്സരങ്ങളെന്ന് മന്ത്രി കെ.രാജൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

തൃശ്ശൂരിലെ സായാഹ്നങ്ങൾ ഇനിയുള്ള 16 ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ കാൽപന്തിന്‍റെ പെരുമ വിളിച്ചോതും. ഉഷ എഫ്സി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രഥമ കൊച്ചമ്മു മെമ്മോറിയൽ അഖിലേന്ത്യാ സെവൻസ് ഫുട്ബോൾ ടൂർണമെന്റിന് ഇന്നലെ കൊടിയേറി. കോർപറേഷൻ ഓഫീസ് സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽ മന്ത്രി കെ. രാജൻ ഫുട്ബോൾ ടൂർണമെന്റ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.

നിറഞ്ഞ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽ നടന്ന ഉദ്ഘാടന പരിപാടിയിൽ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ മേയർ എം കെ വർഗീസ്, പ്രശസ്ത റാപ്പർ വേടൻ , മുൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫുട്ബോൾ താരം ജോ പോൾ അഞ്ചേരി, കമന്ററേറ്റർ ഷൈജു ദാമോദരൻ എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു. 

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

The Sevens Football Tournament, organized in memory of football legend IM Vijayan’s mother, Kochammu, kicked off in Thrissur. Minister K. Rajan, who inaugurated the event, emphasized that this tournament will serve as a campaign against the growing drug menace in society. The tournament, held at the Corporation Office Stadium, will continue for the next 16 days, with football teams competing in memory of Kochammu. The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures such as Mayor M.K. Varghese, rapper Veden, former Indian footballer Jo Paul Ancheri, and commentator Shaju Damodaran.
