സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കടുത്ത ചൂട് തുടരുന്നു. കണ്ണൂര്, കാസര്കോട് ജില്ലകളില് താപനില 38 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്ഷ്യസിലേക്ക് ഉയരും. കോട്ടയം തൃശൂര്, പാലക്കാട്, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളില് 37, പത്തനംതിട്ട, ആലപ്പുഴ, എറണാകുളം, കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലകളില് 36 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്സ്യസ് വരെയും ചൂട് ഉയരം. സാധാരണ ഈ കാലയളവില് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നതിനേക്കാള് 2 മുതല് 3 ഡിഗ്രി വരെ പകല്താപനില ഉയര്ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജാഗ്രതപാലിക്കണമെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു.

The state continues to experience extreme heat. The temperature will rise to 38 degrees Celsius in Kannur and Kasaragod districts. The temperature will reach 37 degrees Celsius in Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram districts, and 36 degrees Celsius in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Kozhikode districts. The daytime temperature has risen by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius compared to the normal temperature during this period. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be vigilant.
