മലപ്പുറം പുത്തനങ്ങാടിയിൽ പിഞ്ചു കുഞ്ഞടക്കം ഏഴ് പേരെ തെരുവുനായ കടിച്ചു. അമ്മയുടെ തോളിൽ കിടന്ന കുഞ്ഞിനടക്കം കടിയേറ്റു. വൈകിട്ട് അഞ്ചു മണിയോടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ഒരു കുട്ടിയെ കടിച്ച നായ പിന്നീട് ആളുകൾക്കിടയിലേക്ക് ഓടി കയറുകയായിരുന്നു. പരുക്കേറ്റവരെ മഞ്ചേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. നായയുടെ കടിയേറ്റ ആറു മാസം പ്രായമായ കുഞ്ഞിനെയും ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. പരുക്കേറ്റവർക്ക് ആഴത്തിലുള്ള മുറിവുകളാണ്.
