കലൂര്‍ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലെ നൃത്തപരിപാടിക്കിടെയുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ചികില്‍സയിലായിരുന്ന ഉമ തോമസ് എംഎല്‍എ ആശുപത്രി വിട്ടു. 45 ദിവസമാണ് എറണാകുളത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികില്‍സയില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. ഉമ തോമസിന്‍റേത് അദ്ഭുതകരമായ രക്ഷപ്പെടലെന്ന് ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
ഒരുമാസം വിശ്രമം വേണം. നട്ടെല്ലിലെ പരുക്കുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായി ഭേദപ്പെടണമെന്നും ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. സംഘാടകരുടെ സുരക്ഷാ വീഴ്ച മൂലം കലൂര്‍ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലെ താല്‍ക്കാലിക വേദിയില്‍ 15 അടി ഉയരത്തില്‍നിന്ന് വീണായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ആരോഗ്യസ്ഥിതി വളരെ ഭേദപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും കുറെനാൾ കൂടി വിശ്രമം വേണ്ടി വരും.
