മുല്ലപ്പെരിയാറില് കേരളം തടസം നില്ക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് സുപ്രീംകോടതിയില് തമിഴ്നാട്. അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി നടത്തണമെന്ന കോടതി നിര്ദേശം കേരളം പാലിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നും തമിഴ്നാട്. അണക്കെട്ട് സുരക്ഷിതമെന്നും മറുപടി സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില് പറയുന്നു. അണക്കെട്ട് ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയാല് ജലനിരപ്പ് 142 അടിയാക്കാമെന്നും വാദം.
