വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി എസ്.ജയശങ്കറിന്‍റെ സുരക്ഷ കൂട്ടി. വാഹനവ്യൂഹത്തിലേക്ക് ഒരു ബുള്ളറ്റ് പ്രൂഫ് വാഹനം കൂടി അനുവദിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യ – പാക് സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിന്‍റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍, സുരക്ഷാ അവലോകനത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് തീരുമാനം. നിലവില്‍ സിആര്‍പിഎഫിന്‍റെ സെഡ് കാറ്റഗറി സുരക്ഷയാണ് ജയശങ്കറിനുള്ളത്. രാജ്യംമുഴുവന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് ഒരേ സുരക്ഷ ലഭിക്കും.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒക്ടോബറിലാണ് ‘വൈ’ കാറ്റഗറിയില്‍നിന്ന് ‘സെഡ്’ കാറ്റഗറിയിലേക്ക് സുരക്ഷ കൂട്ടിയത്. സിആര്‍പിഎഫിന്‍റെ 12 അംഗ കമാന്‍ഡോ സംഘം 24 മണിക്കൂറും വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രിക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ട്. കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രിമാരായ അമിത് ഷാ, നിതിന്‍ ഗഡ്കരി, കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാക്കളായ സോണിയ ഗാന്ധി, രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധി, പ്രിയങ്ക ഗാന്ധി, ടിബറ്റന്‍ ആത്മീയ ആചാര്യന്‍ ദലൈ ലാമ എന്നിവര്‍ക്കെല്ലാം സിആര്‍പിഎഫാണ് സുരക്ഷയൊരുക്കുന്നത്.
