കോഴിക്കോട് വീണ്ടും ഷിഗല്ല. പയ്യോളി തുറയൂരില് ഒന്പതു വയസുകാരനാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. പയ്യോളിയില് തന്നെ മൂന്ന് വയസുകാരന് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രോഗം സ്ഥരീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു.
അതേസമയം, വയനാട് ജില്ലയിൽ പുതിയതായി ഷിഗല്ല കേസുകളൊന്നും റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലെന്നും രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച 16 കുട്ടികളുടെയും ആരോഗ്യനില തൃപ്തികരമാണെന്നും ജില്ലാ മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസർ അറിയിച്ചു. നിലവിൽ 23 പേരാണ് ബത്തേരിയിലെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളിൽ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. രോഗവ്യാപനം തടയുന്നതിനായി പുതുതായി ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നവർ ഉടൻ ചികിത്സ തേടണമെന്നും ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിന്റെ ജാഗ്രതാ നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ കർശനമായി പാലിക്കണമെന്നും ഡി.എം.ഒ അറിയിച്ചു.
