ഗാസയില് വിമാനത്തില് നിന്ന് താഴേക്കിട്ട ഭക്ഷണമടങ്ങിയ പെട്ടി വീണ് 15 വയസ്സുകാരനായ പലസ്തീന് ബാലന് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. ശനിയാഴ്ചയാണ് സംഭവം. മുഹന്നാദ് സക്കറിയ ഈദ് എന്ന ആണ്കുട്ടിയാണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. അപകടത്തില്പെട്ടയുടന് സഹോദരന് ഈദിനെ അടുത്തുള്ള ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചു. അപകടസ്ഥലത്ത് ഓടിക്കൂടിയ ആളുകളും രക്ഷാപ്രവര്ത്തനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി. ശരീരമാസകലം രക്തക്കറയുമായിട്ടാണ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് ഇവര് ഈദിനെയുമെടുത്ത് ഓടിപ്പാഞ്ഞെത്തിയത്. എന്നാല് എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങളും വിഫലമായി. ജീവനറ്റ് ആശുപത്രിയില് നിന്ന് തിരിച്ചിറക്കിയ ഈദിന്റെ മൃതശരീരത്തില് കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ച് കരയുന്ന പിതാവിന്റെ ദൃശ്യങ്ങള് നോവ് പടര്ത്തുകയാണ്, ലോകമനഃസാക്ഷിയെ ഞെട്ടിക്കുകയാണ്.

ഗാസയിലെ ജനങ്ങള് വറുതിയിലാണ്. ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് പോലും വകയില്ലാതെ നട്ടംതിരിയുകയാണ്. ഈ സാഹചര്യം നന്നായി അറിയാവുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് കിട്ടുന്ന ഭക്ഷണമെങ്കിലുമാകട്ടെ എന്നുകരുതിയാണ് അവന് ആ വിമാനത്തിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഓടിയത്. ഭക്ഷണമടങ്ങിയ പെട്ടി ഒരുപാട് ഉയരത്തില് നിന്നാണ് അവര് താഴേക്കിട്ടത്. അതാണ് അവന്റെ ജീവനെടുത്തത്. ഭക്ഷണം തരാനെന്ന പേരില് ഞങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ കൊലയ്ക്ക് കൊടുക്കുകയാണവര്. ദൈവത്തെ കൂട്ടുപിടിച്ച് എങ്ങനെയെങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങള് ജീവിച്ചോളാം. ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള ദുരന്തങ്ങള് സഹിക്കാവുന്നതിലും അപ്പുറമാണെന്ന് കണ്ണീരോടെ സക്കറിയയുടെ സഹോദരന് പ്രതികരിച്ചു.
ഭക്ഷണം വിമാനത്തില് നിന്ന് താഴേക്കിടുന്ന സംവിധാനം (എയര്ഡ്രോപ്സ്– Airdrops) അപകടകരമാണെന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നേരത്തെ തന്നെ ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്ര സംഘടന നല്കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് ഗാസയിലേക്ക് റോഡുമാര്ഗം ഭക്ഷണം എത്തിക്കാന് യാതൊരു മാര്ഗവുമില്ലാത്തതാണ് വെല്ലുവിളി. എയര്ഡ്രോപ്സ് അപകടം നിറഞ്ഞത് മാത്രമല്ല വലിയ ചെലവുള്ള മാര്ഗം കൂടിയാണ്. എന്നാല് ഇസ്രയേലിന്റെ കടുംപിടുത്തം ജനങ്ങളെ കൊലയ്ക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്.

23 പലസ്തീനനികള് എയര്ഡ്രോപ്സിനിടെ അകാരണമായി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന കണക്ക് ഗാസ സര്ക്കാര് പറയുന്നു. 124 ഓളം ആളുകള്ക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. 2023 ഒക്ടോബറിനു ശേഷമുള്ള കണക്കാണിത്. മനുഷ്യത്വരഹിതമായ ഈ പ്രവര്ത്തി നിര്ത്തണമെന്ന് ആവര്ത്തിച്ച് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കിയിട്ടും നടപ്പാകുന്നില്ല. അടിസ്ഥാന ആവശ്യങ്ങളായ ഭക്ഷണം, കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള പാല്, മരുന്ന് തുടങ്ങിയവയെങ്കിലും സുരക്ഷിതമായി കരമാര്ഗം ഗാസയിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കണമെന്ന ആവശ്യമാണ് മുന്നോട്ടുവയ്ക്കാനുള്ളതെന്നും പ്രസ്താവനയില് സര്ക്കാര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അതിര്ത്തി കടന്നുവെന്ന കാരണത്താല് 47 പേരെയാണ് ഇസ്രയേല് ശനിയാഴ്ച മാത്രം കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറിനിടെ 11 പലസ്തീനികള് പട്ടിണി മൂലം മരണപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന കണക്കും ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രാലയം പുറത്തുവിട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
