കൊച്ചിയിൽ ഫ്ലാറ്റിന്റെ താഴത്തെ നിലയിലെ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് വാട്ടർ ടാങ്കിലേക്ക് വീണ് നടൻ വിനോദ് കോവൂരിന് പരുക്ക്. അപകട വിവരം നടൻ തന്നെയാണ് സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ പങ്കുവെച്ചത്. മറിമായം ഷൂട്ടിങ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് രാത്രി 10.30-ഓടെ ഫ്ലാറ്റിൽ മടങ്ങിയെത്തിയപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. വേസ്റ്റ് കളയാനായി താഴത്തെ കാർ പാർക്കിങ് ഏരിയയിൽ എത്തിയതായിരുന്നു വിനോദ്. ബക്കറ്റ് കഴുകാനായി നടക്കുന്നതിനിടെ പൂര്‍ണമായും അടയ്ക്കാത്ത വാട്ടർ ടാങ്കിലേക്ക് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി വീണുപോയി. വീഴ്ചയിൽ ടാങ്കിന്റെ വശത്ത് പിടിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചതിനാൽ വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങാതെ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. എങ്കിലും വീഴ്ചയിൽ ടാങ്കിന്റെ വക്കിൽ ശരീരം ശക്തിയായി ഇടിച്ചു. പുറത്തുകടക്കാൻ പലതവണ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും ആദ്യം പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു. ഒടുവിൽ ഏറെ പരിശ്രമിച്ചാണ് പുറത്തെത്തിയത്.

വീണയുടൻ തന്നെ വേദന അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും എഴുന്നേറ്റ് നടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. ശ്വാസമെടുക്കാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും വാരിയെല്ലിന്റെ ഭാഗത്ത് കഠിനമായ വേദനയും അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എക്സ്-റേ പരിശോധനയിൽ എല്ലുകൾക്ക് പൊട്ടലില്ലെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി. വാരിയെല്ലിൽ കടുത്ത ചതവാണുള്ളതെന്നും അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ശ്വാസമെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ വേദന അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നതെന്നും ഡോക്ടർമാർ അറിയിച്ചു.
