ലഹരിക്കേസില്‍ റിമാന്‍ഡിലായ പ്രതികളില്‍ നിന്നും എംഡിഎംഎ പിടികൂടി. കണ്ണൂർ വനിതാ ജയിലിൽ റിമാന്‍ഡില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന റോഷ്നി സാവിയോ, റുബൈദാ എന്നിവരിൽ നിന്നാണ് എംഡിഎംഎ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. 0.31 ഗ്രാം എംഡിഎംഎയാണ് ഇവരില്‍ നിന്നും പിടികൂടിയത്. 

രണ്ടു വ്യത്യസ്ത എംഡിഎംഎ കേസുകളിൽ റിമാൻഡില്‍ കഴിയുന്നവരാണ് റോഷ്നിയും റുബൈദയും. ഇന്നലെയാണ് ജയിൽ സൂപ്രണ്ടിന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിൽ എം‍ഡിഎം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. ശേഷം ജയില്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ ടൗൺ പൊലീസിൽ നല്‍കിയ പരാതിയില്‍ ഇരുവർക്കുമെതിരെ കേസെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. 

കൂട്ടപുഴയിൽ നിന്ന് 192 ഗ്രാം എംഡിഎംഎയുമായാണ് റോഷിനി സാവിയോ യുവതി അറസ്റ്റിലായത്. ന്യൂമാഹിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് 165 ഗ്രാം എംഡിഎംഎയുമായി റുബൈദ പിടിയിലായത്.

Prison authorities recovered 0.31 grams of MDMA from two female remand prisoners, Roshni Savio and Rubaida, during a surprise inspection at the Kannur Women's Prison. Both accused were previously arrested in separate narcotics cases involving large quantities of synthetic drugs from Koottupuzha and New Mahe respectively. Following the contraband discovery inside the prison facility, prison officials filed a formal complaint with the Town Police. A new criminal case has now been registered against the duo for possessing illegal substances while in judicial custody.
