കൊല്ലം മൈനാഗപ്പള്ളിയില്‍ മാനസിക വൈകല്യമുള്ള യുവാവിനെ പിതാവും സഹോദരനും ചേര്‍ന്ന് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി. മൈനാഗപ്പള്ളി സൊസൈറ്റി മുക്ക്  സ്വദേശി സന്തോഷ് (35) ആണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. കൊലപാതകത്തില്‍ പിതാവ് രാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍, സഹോദരന്‍ സനല്‍ എന്നിവരെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. 

മാനസിക വൈകല്യമുള്ള സന്തോഷ് അക്രമാസക്തനായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് കുടുംബം പറയുന്നത്. ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെ സന്തോഷും സനലും തമ്മില്‍ വാക്കേറ്റമായി. ഇത് മൂര്‍ച്ഛിച്ചതോടെ അച്ഛന്‍ രാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍ ഇടയില്‍ കയറി. വഴക്ക് ശമിക്കാതെ വന്നതോടെ കയ്യില്‍ കിട്ടിയ ഇരുമ്പ് വടിയെടുത്ത് സന്തോഷിന്‍റെ തലയ്ക്ക് രാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍ അടിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്. സന്തോഷ് മരിച്ചെന്ന് ഉറപ്പായതോടെ രാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍ വിവരം പഞ്ചായത്തംഗത്തെ അറിയിച്ചു. ഇവര്‍ പൊലീസിലും വിവരം കൈമാറി. ഇതനുസരിച്ച് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ പൊലീസ് ഇരുവരെയും കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. മകന്റെ ഉപദ്രവത്തില്‍ മനംനൊന്താണ് തല്ലിയതെന്ന് രാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍ പൊലീസിനോട് സമ്മതിച്ചു.

In a tragic incident at Mynagappally, Kollam, a 35-year-old mentally challenged man named Santhosh was allegedly murdered by his father and brother. Following a violent altercation on Thursday night, Santhosh's father, Ramakrishnan, reportedly struck him on the head with an iron rod, leading to his instant death. His brother, Sanal, was also involved in the dispute and has been taken into police custody along with their father. Ramakrishnan confessed to the crime, stating that Santhosh's increasingly aggressive behavior and frequent physical assaults had become unbearable for the family. After confirming the death, the father himself informed the local panchayat member, who subsequently alerted the police. Both suspects are currently being interrogated by the Sasthamcotta police.
