പാലക്കാട് ഒറ്റപ്പാലം എൻ.എസ്.എസ് കോളജിലെ ക്ലാസ് മുറികളിൽ മോഷണം. 3 ക്ലാസുകളിൽ നിന്നായി 3 പ്രൊജക്ടറുകളാണു മോഷണം പോയത്. ആകെ ഒന്നേകാൽ ലക്ഷത്തോളം രൂപയുടെ നഷ്ടമുണ്ടായതായാണ് നിഗമനം. കോളജിലെ ഒന്നാം നിലയിലെ ബികോം, എംകോം, താഴത്തെ നിലയിലെ ബിഎ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് ക്ലാസുകളിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച പ്രൊജക്ടറുകളാണ് മോഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. 40,000 രൂപ വീതം വില വരുന്ന പ്രൊജക്ടറുകളാണിത്.
ആദ്യം ഒരു ക്ലാസിലെ പ്രൊജക്ടർ കാണാനില്ലെന്നായിരുന്നു പ്രിൻസിപ്പലിനു ലഭിച്ച വിവരം. തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണു മറ്റ് 2 ക്ലാസ് മുറികളിൽ കൂടി മോഷണം നടന്നെന്നു ബോധ്യമായാത്. പ്രൊജക്ടറുകളിലെ കേബിളുകളും നട്ടുകളുമെല്ലാം ഊരിയെടുത്ത നിലയിലാണ്.
മുകൾ നിലയിലെ വരാന്തകളിലേക്ക് കയറുന്നിടത്തെ ഇരുമ്പു ഗ്രില്ലുകളാണ് പൂട്ടാറുള്ളത്. മോഷ്ടാവ് ഇതുവഴി കടന്നെന്നാണ് നിഗമനം. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ നൽകിയ പരാതി പരിഗണിച്ച് ഒറ്റപ്പാലം പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം തുടങ്ങി. പൊലീസ് സംഘം കോളജിലെത്തി പരിശോധന നടത്തി. ശാസ്ത്രീയ പരിശോധനാ വിഭാഗങ്ങളും തെളിവെടുത്തു.

Three projectors worth around ₹1.2 to ₹1.5 lakh were stolen from classrooms at NSS College, Ottapalam in Palakkad. The theft occurred in three different classrooms: B.Com, M.Com on the first floor, and BA English on the ground floor. Each projector was valued at approximately ₹40,000. The incident came to light when one missing projector was reported to the principal, which led to further checks revealing two more missing. The equipment had been forcibly removed, including cables and mounts. The suspected entry point is through the locked iron grills leading to the upper floor verandas. Ottapalam Police have launched an investigation based on the principal’s complaint, and forensic teams have collected evidence from the scene.
