കണ്ണൂർ തലശ്ശേരിയിൽ വീട്ടിലെ പൂജാമുറിയിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ച എംഡിഎംഎയും കഞ്ചാവും പിടികൂടി. ഇല്ലത്തുതാഴെയിലെ റിനിൽ എന്നയാളുടെ വീടിന്‍റെ പൂജാമുറിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഇന്നലെയാണ് ഒരു കിലോ കഞ്ചാവും അഞ്ച് ഗ്രാം എംഡിഎംഎയും പിടികൂടിയത്. പൊലീസ് എത്തിയതറിഞ്ഞ് റിനിൽ പിൻവശത്തെ വാതിൽ വഴി ഓടി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. ഇയാൾക്കായി തെരച്ചിൽ തുടരുകയാണ്. പൂജാമുറിയുടെ അടിയിൽ പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് കവറിൽ കെട്ടിവച്ച നിലയിലായിരുന്നു ലഹരിമരുന്ന്. 

കഞ്ചാവ് വലിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പേപ്പറുകളും അളക്കാനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ത്രാസും ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് കണ്ടെടുത്തു. കഞ്ചാവ് വിൽപ്പന നടത്തുന്ന സംഘത്തിലെ പ്രധാനിയാണ് റനിലെന്ന് പൊലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇയാൾ സ്ഥിരമായി മയക്കുമരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗിക്കാറുണ്ടെന്നും ആളുകൾ അന്വേഷിച്ച് വരാറുണ്ടെന്നും സഹോദരൻ പൊലീസിന് മൊഴി നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

In a shocking incident from Thalassery, Kannur, police seized a stash of MDMA and ganja hidden inside the prayer room of a house. The contraband — one kilogram of ganja and five grams of MDMA — was found at the residence of a man named Rineel in Illathuthazhe. Upon learning of the police raid, Rineel escaped through the back door and is currently on the run. The drugs were discovered concealed in a plastic cover beneath the prayer room floor.
