Father Dr. Justin Panakkal, a renowned composer of popular Christian devotional songs like "Paithalam Yeshuve" and "Sneha Swaroopa," was honored on his ninetieth birthday. The celebration was organized by the Cochin Arts and Communications of the Varappuzha Diocese. The event, held at St. Teresa's College Auditorium in Ernakulam, saw the participation of many prominent figures from the art and cultural fields, including music directors Jerry Amaldev, Berny Ignatius, and director Jis Joy. The Auxiliary Bishop of the Varappuzha Diocese, Mar Antony Valungal, was the chief guest and honored Father Justin Panakkal by draping a golden shawl over him. The event also featured the singing of songs composed by him.
