സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് റബർ ബോർഡുമായി ചേർന്ന് റബർ കൃഷി വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കാൻ പദ്ധതിയുമായി ഓട്ടോമോട്ടീവ് ടയർമാനുഫാക്ചേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ. അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷം ഏക്കറോളം സ്ഥലത്തെ റബർ മരങ്ങൾ കേരളത്തിൽ ടാപ്പ് ചെയ്യാതെ കിടപ്പുണ്ട്. ഈ തോട്ടങ്ങൾ മാപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനും സ്റ്റാർട്ടപ്പ് സംരംഭങ്ങളുടെ സഹായം തേടും. ഉൽപ്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന റബറിൻ്റെ ഗുണനിലവാരം വർധിപ്പിച്ചാൽ കർഷകന് കൂടുതൽ വില ലഭിക്കുമെന്നും ആത്മ ചെയർമാൻ അരുൺ മാമ്മൻ കൊച്ചിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.<<ഇന്ത്യൻ റബർ വ്യവസായത്തിൻ്റെ വാർഷിക വിറ്റുവരവ് ഒരു ലക്ഷം കോടിയും കയറ്റുമതി 25000 കോടിയും കവിഞ്ഞു.

The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) has joined hands with the Rubber Board to expand rubber cultivation in Kerala. Nearly five lakh acres of untapped rubber plantations in the state will be mapped and revived with the support of startup ventures. Enhancing the quality of rubber will ensure better prices for farmers. The Indian rubber industry now has an annual turnover exceeding ₹1 lakh crore and exports crossing ₹25,000 crore, said ATMA chairman Arun Mammen in Kochi.
