കവർച്ച, വധശ്രമമടക്കം പതിനഞ്ചിലേറെ കേസിൽ പ്രതിയായ യുവാവ് പള്ളുരുത്തി പൊലീസിന്റെ പിടിയിൽ. അരൂക്കുറ്റി സ്വദേശിയും നിലവിൽ ഇടക്കൊച്ചിയിലെ താമസക്കാരനുമായ മനീഷിനെതിരെയാണ് നടപടി.

ഒരു വർഷം മുൻപ് കാപ്പപ്രകാരം അറസ്റ്റിലായ മനീഷ് ഒരു വർഷത്തിലേറെ ജയിലിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒക്ടോബറിൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മനീഷ് പണം നൽകാത്തതിന്റെ പേരിൽ ഒരാളെ വെട്ടി പരുക്കേൽപ്പിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് റിമാൻഡിലായ പ്രതി വീണ്ടും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയതോടെയാണ് കാപ്പ പ്രകാരം പിടിയിലായത്. പള്ളുരുത്തി പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ കിരൺ സി. നായരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.

Palluruthy police have arrested Manish, a notorious criminal involved in over 15 cases including robbery and attempt to murder, under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAPA). A resident of Edakochi and native of Arookutty, Manish was previously jailed for a year under KAPA and released in October. However, he was involved in further violent incidents shortly after his release. The operation was led by Palluruthy Police Inspector Kiran C. Nair.
