സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ നാല് രാജ്യാന്തര വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളെയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചും ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചും വികസന പദ്ധതി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി. വര്‍ധിച്ചുവരുന്ന വ്യോമയാന ആവശ്യത, കയറ്റുമതി, ലോജിസ്റ്റിക്സ്, വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര മേഖലകളിലെ സാധ്യതകള്‍ എന്നിവ കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടിയിണക്കിയുള്ള പദ്ധതി വരുന്നത്. ഇതിനായി വിവിധ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസന പദ്ധതികള്‍ ആവിഷ്കരിക്കുന്നതിനും പ്രാരംഭ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമായി ബജറ്റില്‍ 200 കോടി രൂപ വകയിരുത്തി.

ഇതില്‍ സേവന മേഖലകള്‍, ഗ്ലോബല്‍ കേപ്പബിളിറ്റി സെന്‍ററുകള്‍, ഹോസ്പിറ്റാലിറ്റി– വ്യോമയാന– അനുബന്ധ വ്യാപാര സേവന മേഖലകള്‍ എന്നിവ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന എയ്റോ പാര്‍ക്ക്, എയ്റോ സിറ്റി പദ്ധതികളും നടപ്പിലാക്കും. വിമാന അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി പരിപാലന മേഖലയെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തും. സിമുലേറ്റര്‍ അധിഷ്ഠിത പൈലറ്റ് പരിശീലനകേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ, ഡിജിസിഎ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ള വിമാന പരിപാലന എന്‍ജിനീയറിങ് പരിശീലന നൈപുണ്യ വികസന സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയും ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടുണ്ടാകുമെന്നും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

കാർഷിക– മത്സ്യ– ഫാർമ മേഖലകളിലെ കയറ്റുമതി ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനായി സംയോജിത പാക്ക് ഹൗസ് സൗകര്യവും ഫാർമ– കാർഗോ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികൾ കൊള്ളുന്നതാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കൊച്ചിൻ എയർപോർട്ടിനോട് അനുബന്ധമായി അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു ഗ്ലോബൽ കൺവെൻഷൻ സെന്റർ ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്നും ബജറ്റില്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. Click to Read Kerala Budget 2026 Highlights

In a strategic move to boost aviation, tourism, and logistics, the Kerala government has announced a comprehensive development project connecting the state’s four international airports. With an initial allocation of 200 crore rupees, the initiative focuses on creating integrated infrastructure, including the development of "Aero Parks" and "Aero Cities" that will house global capability centers, hospitality services, and aviation-related trade hubs. A core component of the project is to strengthen aircraft maintenance (MRO) capabilities, alongside the establishment of simulator-based pilot training centers and DGCA-compliant engineering training facilities. Furthermore, the plan includes upgrading cold chain logistics, integrated pack houses, and specialized pharma-cargo facilities to bolster exports in the agricultural, fishery, and pharmaceutical sectors. Additionally, the budget features a proposal to establish a world-class global convention center adjacent to the Cochin International Airport.
