സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കൊടും ചൂട് തുടരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ച്ചയായ രണ്ടാം ദിനവും വൈദ്യുതി ഉപഭോഗത്തില്‍ റെക്കോര്‍ഡിട്ടു.  പവര്‍കട്ടിനുളള സാഹചര്യമുണ്ടെന്നും ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ തീവ്രശ്രമമെന്നും വൈദ്യുതി മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

 

പൊളളിപ്പിടയുകയാണ് സംസ്ഥാനം.  പാലക്കാടും കൊല്ലത്തുമാണ് ഏതാനും ദിവസമായി ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്‍ന്ന താപനില രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്. പാലക്കാട് 40 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍സ്യസിലേക്കും കൊല്ലത്ത് 38 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍സ്യസിലേക്കും പകല്‍ചൂട് ഉയരും. ഒപ്പം രൂക്ഷമായ വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധിയും നേരിടുകയാണ് സംസ്ഥാനം. തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി  രണ്ടാംദിവസവും  ഇതാദ്യമായി വൈദ്യുതി ഉപഭോഗത്തില്‍ റെക്കോര്‍ഡിട്ടു. ഇന്നലത്തെ ഉപയോഗം 117.15 ദശലക്ഷം യൂണിററാണ്. വൈദ്യുതി ആവശ്യകത 6033 മെഗാവാട്ട് ആയി കൂടി.

 

 

ഇടുക്കിയും വയനാടും ഒഴികെയുളള ജില്ലകളില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്ന താപനില മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് തുടരുകയാണ്. നാളെ മുതല്‍ ചൂടില്‍ അല്പം ആശ്വാസമുണ്ടായേക്കുമെന്നാണ് കാലാവസ്ഥാ പ്രവചനം. ഏപ്രില്‍ അവസാന വാരത്തോടെ വേനല്‍മഴ ശക്തമാകും.
