പുനലൂർ- മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ സംസ്ഥാന പാതയിൽ ലോറിയിൽ ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ ഇടിച്ച് രണ്ട് മരണം. കുമ്പഴയിലാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ ഡ്രൈവർ വടശ്ശേരിക്കര സ്വദേശി ഫിലിപ്പ്, സഹോദരി ജിൻസി സാലി എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ ഇരുവരെയും ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
ഇന്ന് ഉച്ച തിരിഞ്ഞ് രണ്ടുമണിക്ക് ശേഷമായിരുന്നു അപകടം. ലോറി കോന്നി ഭാഗത്തേക്കുപോകുകയായിരുന്നു. കോന്നിയില് നിന്ന് വരികയായിരുന്നു ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ. പ്രാഥമിക വിവരങ്ങള് അനുസരിച്ച് കോന്നിയിൽ നിന്നു വന്ന ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ വരി തെറ്റി ലോറിയിലേക്ക് ചെന്ന് ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഡ്രൈവറായ ഫിലിപ്പിന്റെ ശരീരത്തിന് മുകളിലേക്ക് വീണ നിലയിലായിരുന്നു ഓട്ടോറിക്ഷ. അപകടത്തെ തുടർന്ന് റോഡിൽ ഗതാഗതo തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. സ്ഥിരം അപകടമേഖലകൂടിയാണിത്.

A fatal road accident occurred today on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha State Highway at Kumbazha, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The victims have been identified as Philip, an auto-rickshaw driver from Vadasserikkara, and his sister Jincy Sali.
