സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് മഴ കനക്കും. ഇന്ന് നാല് ജില്ലകളില്‍ യെലോഅലര്‍ട്ട്.  പത്തനംതിട്ട,കോട്ടയം, കണ്ണൂർ, കാസർകോട് ജില്ലകളിലാണ് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് യെല്ലോ അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. മറ്റുജില്ലകളില്‍ ഇടത്തരം മഴ കിട്ടും. ശബരിമല തീർത്ഥാടകർക്കും ജാഗ്രതാ നിർദ്ദേശമുണ്ട്. 

മധ്യകേരളത്തിലും വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിലും മഴ കനത്തേക്കും. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മലയോര മേഖലകളിൽ ഇടിമിന്നലോട് കൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുള്ളതിനാൽ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളും തീർഥാടകരും ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണം. ഞായറാഴ്ച വരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് മഴ തുടരുമെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. 

കേരളത്തിൽ അടുത്ത അഞ്ച് ദിവസം ഇടിമിന്നലോടു കൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. കന്യാകുമാരി കടലിനു മുകളിലായി ന്യൂനമർദം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ശനിയാഴ്ചയോടെ തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിനു മുകളിൽ പുതിയ ന്യൂനമർദം രൂപപ്പെടാനും തുടർന്നുള്ള 48 മണിക്കൂറിൽ ഇത് കൂടുതൽ ശക്തി പ്രാപിക്കാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് പ്രവചിക്കുന്നത്.

Kerala is bracing for intensified rainfall as a new low-pressure system approaches from the southwest Bay of Bengal. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for four districts, with moderate to heavy rain expected across the state. Central and northern Kerala may receive stronger showers along with thunderstorms, especially in hilly regions. Sabarimala pilgrims and tourists have been advised to remain cautious due to possible lightning and heavy downpours. Rainfall is likely to continue till Sunday, with the weather department predicting unstable conditions for the next five days. A low-pressure area also persists over the Kanyakumari sea region, further contributing to the ongoing rain pattern.
