തിരുവനന്തപുരം– കാസര്കോഡ് ആര്.ആര്.ടി.എസ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാര് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. മെട്രോ റെയിലിന് സമാനമായി തൂണുകളിലും ഭൂമിക്കടിയിലൂടെയുമാണ് ആര്.ആര്.ടി.എസ് നിര്മിക്കുന്നത്. നഗരത്തിനകത്തെ യാത്രയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയാണ് മെോട്രോ ട്രെയിന് എങ്കില് ദീര്ഘദൂര യാത്രയ്ക്കാണ് ആര്.ആര്.ടി.എസ്. വേഗത മെട്രോയേക്കാള് വളരെ കൂടുതലും ഹൈസ്പീഡ് റെയിലിനേക്കാള് അല്പം കുറവുമായിരിക്കും. സംവിധാനങ്ങള് അടുത്തറിയാന് ഡല്ഹി– മീററ്റ് ആര്.ആര്.ടി.എസ് ആയ നമോ ഭാരത് ട്രെയിനില് മനോരമ ന്യൂസ് സംഘം.
