ഉത്തരകാശിയിലെ സിൽക്യാര തുരങ്കത്തിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയ തൊഴിലാളികളെ പുറത്തെത്തിക്കുന്നത് വൈകുന്നു. 41 തൊഴിലാളികൾ മരണത്തോട് മുഖാമുഖം നിൽക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് ഇന്നേയ്ക്ക് 13 ദിവസമാകുന്നു. തൊഴിലാളികളെ പുറത്തെത്തിക്കാനുള്ള രക്ഷാക്കുഴൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ള ഡ്രില്ലിങ് താൽക്കാലികമായി നിർത്തിവച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഡ്രില്ലിങ് യന്ത്രത്തിന്റെ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് ഭാഗം തകർന്നതാണ് പ്രതിസന്ധിക്ക് ഇടയാക്കിയത്. കോൺക്രീറ്റ് ഭാഗം ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ശ്രമം തുടരുകയാണ്. തുരങ്കത്തിന്റെ മുകളിൽ നിന്ന് തുരക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമം നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.
