ഫെയ്സ്ബുക്കിലൂടെ മുൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധിയെ വികലമായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ച ആർഎസ്എസ് പ്രവർത്തകൻ റിമാൻഡിൽ. ഷൊർണൂർ മുണ്ടായ സ്വദേശി ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണനെയാണ് ഷൊർണൂർ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ SRR ഉണ്ണി എന്ന  അക്കൗണ്ടിലൂടെ മുൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയെ വികലമായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ച സന്ദേശം പങ്കുവെച്ചതിനാണ് പൊലീസ് ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ മെയ് 16നാണ് ഇയാൾ  ഇന്ദിരാഗാന്ധിയുടെ ചിത്രം വികലമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള സന്ദേശം പങ്കുവെച്ചത്. ഇത് സമൂഹമാധ്യമത്തിൽ പലരും ഷെയർ ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ജില്ലാ പൊലീസ് മേധാവിയുടെ ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിച്ച വിവരപ്രകാരം ഷൊർണൂർ പൊലീസ് സ്വമേധയാ കേസ് റജിസ്റ്റര്‍  ചെയ്ത് പ്രതിയെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.

The post sparked outrage, leading to police action and his subsequent remand. Authorities stated that spreading such distorted portrayals of national leaders on social media would not be tolerated.
