കോഴിക്കോട് വ്യാജ ട്രേഡിങ് ആപ് വഴി തട്ടിപ്പ്. രണ്ടുപേരില്നിന്നായി ഒന്നരക്കോടി തട്ടി. തിരുവമ്പാടിയിലെ ഡോക്ടറില്നിന്ന് 1.25 കോടിയും കൊയിലാണ്ടിയിലെ വീട്ടമ്മയില് നിന്ന് 23 ലക്ഷവും തട്ടി. സോഷ്യല് മീഡിയയിലൂടെ ട്രേഡിങ്് ക്ലാസുകള് നല്കാമെന്ന വ്യാജേനയായിരുന്നു തട്ടിപ്പ്. വ്യാജമായി നിർമ്മിച്ച കമ്പനിയുടെ പേരിൽ ആയിരുന്നു തട്ടിപ്പ്. സംഭവത്തില് കോഴിക്കോട് റൂറൽ സൈബർ ക്രൈം പൊലീസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു.

In Kozhikode, two homemakers were cheated out of nearly ₹1.5 crore through a fake trading app. A doctor from Thiruvambady lost ₹1.25 crore, and a housewife from Koyilandy was duped of ₹23 lakh. The fraudsters lured them in with fake promises of trading classes and carried out the scam under the name of a non-existent company. Police have begun an investigation into the case.
