As yet another strike day dawned, Kerala witnessed its usual scenes. On this rare occasion when the entire nation observes an all-India event, our small state stood out once again. The day’s developments began as early as 5 AM, as always. People who stepped out for essential needs wandered helplessly — patients struggling to reach hospitals or buy medicines, and ordinary workers attempting to go about their jobs. The visuals remained all too familiar.
