ശശി തരൂരിനെ ഒപ്പം നിർത്താൻ സിപിഎം. ഇടതുകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുമായി ശശി തരൂരിന്റെ  നിര്‍ണായക ചര്‍ച്ച. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയനുമായി അടുപ്പമുള്ള വ്യവസായി ദുബായിയില്‍ തരൂരിനെ കണ്ടു. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസുമായി ഇടഞ്ഞുനില്‍ക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ചര്‍ച്ച. കൊച്ചിയില്‍ നടന്ന മഹാപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ അവഗണനയിൽ തരൂരിന് അതൃപ്തിയുണ്ട്. 

ഇന്നാണ് ശശി തരൂർ ദുബായിലേക്ക് പോയത്. 27-ന് കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് സമിതി യോഗം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ചേരുന്നുണ്ട്. ആ യോഗത്തിൽ തരൂർ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നില്ല എന്ന വിവരവും പുറത്തുവരുന്നു. കോൺഗ്രസ് തരൂരിനെ അനുനയിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമം ആരംഭിച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് സി.പി.എമ്മിൽ നിന്നും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള നീക്കം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് എന്ന സൂചന ലഭിക്കുന്നത്.

കൊച്ചിയിലെ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് മഹാപഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ അവഗണിച്ചതിലുള്ള അതൃപ്തി മറച്ചുവയ്ക്കാതെ ശശി തരൂര്‍. തനിക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത് പാര്‍ട്ടിക്കകത്ത് പറയുമെന്നും പൊതുചര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്കില്ലെന്നും തരൂര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത് പറഞ്ഞോളൂ എന്നും തരൂര്‍ ഇന്നലെ കോഴിക്കോട്ട് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

The talks come against the backdrop of Tharoor’s dissatisfaction over alleged neglect at the Congress Maha Panchayat in Kochi. Reports also suggest that Tharoor may skip the Congress election committee meeting scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram. Political circles see the CPI(M)’s move as coinciding with Congress efforts to placate Tharoor.
