സി.പി.എമ്മില്‍ ജ്യോതിഷ വിവാദം. ചില നേതാക്കള്‍ ജ്യോത്സ്യന്‍മാരെ കാണാന്‍ പോകുന്നുവെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന സമിതിയില്‍ വിമര്‍ശനം. എന്ത് രാഷ്ട്രീയ ബോധത്തിന്‍റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഇത്തരം സന്ദര്‍ശനങ്ങളെന്നും  നേതാക്കളുടെ ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എന്ത് സന്ദേശമാണ് നല്‍കുകയെന്നും സംസ്ഥാന സമിതിയില്‍ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നു. 

ആരുടെയും പേരെടുത്ത് പറയാതെ കണ്ണൂരില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള നേതാവാണ് വിമര്‍ശനം ഉന്നയിച്ചത്. സി.പി.എം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി എം.വി ഗോവിന്ദന്‍ പ്രശസ്ത ജ്യോത്സ്യന്‍ പയ്യന്നൂര്‍ മാധവ പൊതുവാളിനെ അടുത്തിടെ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Astrology controversy within the CPI(M). The state committee witnessed criticism over some leaders reportedly visiting astrologers. Questions were raised about the political consciousness behind such visits and the kind of message these actions convey to the public. Without naming anyone directly, the criticism came from a leader based in Kannur. CPI(M) State Secretary M.V. Govindan had recently visited the renowned astrologer Payyannur Madhava Pothuval.
