ശബരിമലയിലെ വിവാദ സ്പോണ്സറും സ്വര്ണക്കൊള്ളക്കേസ് പ്രതിയുമായ ഉണ്ണിക്കൃഷ്ണന് പോറ്റിയുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തില് പ്രതികരിച്ച് യുഡിഎഫ് കണ്വീനര് അടൂര് പ്രകാശ്. മണ്ഡലത്തിലുള്ള ആളെന്ന നിലയിലാണ് സഹകരിച്ചതെന്ന വാദം ആവര്ത്തിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം പോറ്റി ക്ഷണിച്ച ചടങ്ങില് താന് പങ്കെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും സമ്മതിച്ചു. ശബരിമലയിലെ ചടങ്ങിനെത്താനായി പോറ്റി തന്നെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു. അതനുസരിച്ചാണ് പോയത്. പിന്നീട് പോറ്റിയുടെ പിതാവ് മരിച്ചപ്പോള് പോയി. പോറ്റിയുടെ സഹോദരി താമസിക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിലും പോയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കെപിസിസി ജനറല് സെക്രട്ടറി രമണി പി.നായര്ക്കൊപ്പമാണ് പോയത്. പോറ്റി കൊള്ളസംഘക്കാരനാണെന്ന് താന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും അടൂര് പ്രകാശ് വിശദീകരിച്ചു.
