കോഴിക്കോട് കുന്നമംഗലത്ത് വാനും കാറും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് മൂന്നു മരണം. വാന്‍ ഡ്രൈവറും രണ്ട് കാര്‍ യാത്രക്കാരുമാണ് മരിച്ചത്. പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 2.50 ഓടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കൊടുവളളി സ്വദേശി നിഹാൽ, ഈങ്ങാപുഴ സ്വദേശി സുഹൈൽ, വയനാട് സ്വദേശി സമീർ എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. അപകടത്തില്‍ രണ്ടുപേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.

കുന്നമംഗലം പതിമംഗലത്താണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കുന്നമംഗലത്തേക്ക് വരുകയായിരുന്ന വാനും കൊടുവള്ളിയിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന കാറുമാണ് കൂട്ടി ഇടിച്ചത്. കാർ വെട്ടി പൊട്ടിച്ചാണ് യാത്രക്കാരെ പുറത്തെടുത്തത്. പിന്നാലെ അഞ്ചുപേരെയും മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ മൂന്നുപേര്‍ മരിച്ചു. അപകട കാരണത്തില്‍ ഇതുവരെ വ്യക്തത വന്നിട്ടില്ല.
