പാലക്കാട് വാളയാറിൽ അതിഥി തൊഴിലാളി ആൾകൂട്ട ആക്രമണത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട സംഭവത്തിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും പങ്കെന്ന് പൊലീസ് നിഗമനം. രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ട ആക്രമണത്തിൽ ഛത്തിസ്ഗഡ് സ്വദേശി രാംനാരായണനെ ചില സ്ത്രീകളും മർദിച്ചെന്നാണ് പൊലീസിനു ലഭിച്ച വിവരം. 

അന്വേഷണമേറ്റെടുത്ത ഡിവൈഎസ്പി ഗോപകുമാറിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള ജില്ലാ ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച് സംഘം ഇക്കാര്യം പരിശോധിക്കും. ആക്രമണത്തിൽ പതിനഞ്ചോളം പേർ പങ്കാളികളായെന്നും ഇതിൽ ചിലർ നാടുവിട്ടെന്നുമാണ് പൊലീസ് കരുതുന്നത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ബുധൻ രാത്രിയിലാണ് ഛത്തീസ്ഗഡ് സ്വദേശി രാംനാരായൺ ഭയ്യാർ ആൾക്കൂട്ട ആക്രമണത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. മോഷണകുറ്റം ആരോപിച്ചു വിചാരണ നടത്തിയായിരുന്നു ആക്രമണം. 

കേസിൽ ഇതുവരെ 5 പേരെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. കൂടുതൽ പേരെ അടുത്ത ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തേക്കും.

Police probing the Walayar mob lynching case in Palakkad have found indications that women were also involved in the brutal assault. The victim, an interstate migrant worker from Chhattisgarh, was attacked for nearly two hours following allegations of theft. The district crime branch, led by DySP Gopakumar, has taken over the investigation to examine the new findings. Police estimate that around fifteen people participated in the attack, with some suspects currently absconding. Five accused have been arrested so far in connection with the case. Authorities expect more arrests in the coming days as the investigation progresses.
